The 6th International Chess Festival La Plagne is organized by the Club d'Échecs du Bassin Annemassien (CABE), represented by its president, Jocelyn VIEULES. It will take place from July 4 to 10, 2026 in 2 adjacent venues: Belle-Plagne (Congress Hall: MASTERS and ACCESSION and BLITZ) and Bellecôte (AMATEURS) The Festival comprises 4 tournaments: The MASTER tournament, reserved for players with an Elo of 1900 or above, will be played at Belle Plagne, in the Congress Hall. The ACCESSION Tournament, reserved for players with an Elo between 1551 and 1999, will be played at Belle Plagne, in the Congress Hall. The AMATEUR Tournament, reserved for players with an Elo below 1600 or not classified, will be played at Plagne Bellecôte in Salle Polyvalente.
